Agency VIVA

Your Bridge Between Languages

Your remote translation partner

Translation Agency Viva is duly licensed to provide translation and legalization services by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs under Contract No. 2179 and has been among the undisputed leaders in the city of Burgas and the region for over 25 years now!

We meticulously select our freelance translators, ensuring a team of highly qualified professionals. Our team comprises Master’s degree holders in Philology, university lecturers, former employees in Bulgarian diplomatic missions around the world as well as many native speakers, guaranteeing linguistic excellence.

We are fully aware that each text possesses unique characteristics, so for the most common language pairs we work with translators who are professionally oriented and/or have long years of experience in the relevant field – medicine, law, technical texts, etc.

Linguistics is a science, translation is art! Our translators will not make a literal and mechanical translation of your source text. Instead, they will do their best to convey the finest linguistic nuances and cultural differences so that the foreigner reading the translation feels as comfortable and “at home” as when reading a document produced in their mother tongue.

Tight deadlines do not scare us at all! In the common language pairs, we are able to accept express orders (up to 5-6 translation pages in 24 hours). For short documents in English, Russian and German, we are often able to respond within 1-2 hours. Sometimes, we can accept orders on holidays (but please do not abuse it, call only if you are really in a big need).

We take great pride that during our long-standing presence on the market in Burgas and the region, we have served some of the largest and most demanding corporate clients, including Lukoil, Kronoshpan, Promet, Elma, Boshnakov EOOD (Masterhaus), Uta Bulgaria, some of the top lawyers in the city, as well as several of the leading real estate brokers (Yavlena, Adres, etc.).

We strive to keep our pricing competitive, around the average level for the city of Burgas. Also, you can rest assured that once the price has been offered to you, it is indeed the final price and we will never charge any extra fees whatsoever.

How to order a translation?

1. Send us the original document via an email. We accept documents in various file formats. If you only have a hard copy of the source text, make a scan of it or take a good-quality photo with your smartphone so that the entire text is clearly legible.

2. Specify whether you only need an official translation by a sworn translator or whether you also need notarization and/or legalization. Notarization (certification of translator’s signature by a notary – for documents translated from a foreign language) and legalization (affixing an apostille and certification by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs – for documents translated from Bulgarian) are additional services which are costly and time-consuming, so make sure you really need them. They are usually required for more formal occasions such as registration of birth certificates, civil status certificates, real estate transactions, etc. If unsure whether you need notarization or legalization, it is best to contact the person or the authority that required the translation in the first place. We can also provide professional advice, but only if your case is not very specific.

3. Indicate any additional requirements you may have regarding the requested deadline for the translation service, etc. Please, do always leave a contact phone number in the email in case additional clarifications are needed.

4. Once we have all above information, we will return our best quote with a price and a turnaround time for your project. Please, note that the pricing of translation services is based on the character count in the translated text – one standard translation page is made up of 1800 characters, so there may be a discrepancy, sometimes significant, between the number of physical pages of the original document and the number of translation pages specified in our quotation. Advance payment is only required for large orders. Upon your email confirmation of the terms and conditions of our offer, we will start right away working on your project.
